Hmmm....

Anyway, Anybody that isn't answering Detroit is doing it wrong.

I'd nuke BR for the Opprtunity to build a loop and better traffic infrastructure.

Fine, let them relocate to your city and see how you like it. I would rather have the people from Salt Lake.

They'd just move to the South side of CHicago

Would drop the nuke high enough where it would take out entire state of Iowa. Why? Des Moines, Ames would be wiped out and know one would even notice. Matter of fact would anyone notice if the entire state was gone? When was the last time you thought "Iowa, damn I just have to go there...Des Moines, Ames , go crazy"

You have to save Tuscaloosa. No Tuscaloosa, no Bama to hate, no big time rival, no recruiting wars...Might as well be in the Mountain West

Ah yes, the unique derelict aesthetic.

People are walking away from beautiful architecture there. It's sad, but I'd like for it to be restored one day. They can't blame excessive blight and shitty atmosphere on hurricanes, either.

Detroit is especially sad because it was, at one point, a great city with a huge amount of opportunity for the average joe.

I think you can get outrageous 3/4 BR houses in Gary for 30k. Something like that. Must be really bad.

New Orleans would be a good candidate since its transportation infrastructure is a mess. It would be nice to be able to rebuild the city with a well planned transportation infrastructure that would allow the port to operate more efficiently. However, you'd have to find replacements for the community leaders at the time of evacuation to have any chance of rebuilding without rampant corruption that would sacrifice good planning for personal profit.

You are another person that doesn't understand the OPs question, we don't get to kill the people there. If you nuked Gary the shitbirds there would just go to other cities and ruin them, its great they are contained in certain areas. Why would you ruin that?

If we accept your premise than wouldn't we choose one of the most educated/affluent cities?

what good does this do if you take the citizens out? then the problem just moves to where ever these "citizens" end up. The "citizens" are the reason these cities suck.
