I'd take $1,000,000,000 in 20 years.

I’m good today. And 100k now isn’t that big of a deal. I’ll take the 1 mill in 10 years.

Because I really don’t need 100k right now, but could use a mil in 10 years.

I’m 34. Give me $1,000,000 when I’m 44 and I’ll work for 6 more years while that $1M is invested and I let my current retirement build some more. Live on the earnings of that $1M until I start drawing whatever SS I have by the time I’m 62 or 65 and old be fricking set.

The million, easy, based on future value of money equation and typical average gain per year.

Give me 100k tomorrow and I’m putting it all on 3x leveraged oil ETNs and it’ll be at a million before the end of the year

$1 million in ten years. Nothing I can think of guarantees anything close to that type of gain in 10 years.

I'd choose a million in 10 years, easily. Would almost certainly mean I could retire in 10 years...
