Oh, Paul! I’d love to have a sprawling ranch out there.

Why would one have to be dissatisfied with the US? I love it here but that doesn't mean I wouldn't like to live elsewhere for a while.

Portugal is currently rated as one of the best places to live and its fairly cheap. Beautiful beaches and plenty of countries around to explore.

If you wanted to really stretch your money and live in a tropical place there are many ex-pats that live in the Phillippines on about $1k per month

I basically live between 2 countries right now. I prefer the opportunity and comfort more here and the quality of life / nature there more. I like anywhere safe and tropical- Costa Rica and Thailand fit the bill . I’d recommend both. The northern country I enjoy is Ireland. It’s beautiful and the people are awesome. Give me 1/3 year in Ireland, Costa Rica and football season in the US and I’d be happy.

Or Thailand , for roughly the same amount of money per month but with much better food and infrastructure .

What crime did you commit? Probably the best non-extradition country option there is.

Some friends of mine moved there right before CV19. I had plans to visit that obviously had to be put on hold. They ended up moving to Tulum so now I am not sure when or if I will ever go.

Scotland or Ireland. Like the Irish beer, Scottish scotch, Irish lassies. The castles and lighthouses are mystifying.

Can foreigners own land in Thailand? I know they can't in the Phillippines but they can own a condo there.

El Nido is on my bucket list to visit.

USA is still the best place. Some states are way better than others. Outside the US. Chile. Not Santiago or Valparaiso. Preferably Concepcion to Lake Country.

Portugal and Italy are my two favorites that I’ve actually visited. I could be happy in either.
