Would move back to France or try the Netherlands.

In the US. probably PNW. But I'd rather live in another southern state than anywhere else in the us.

I will say that the beer scene in Boston blows NY out of the water.

You should check out the micro brews up in New Hampshire. Also, there is a great beer festival in Vermont every year. I think Maine has one as well. A friend of mine from NOLA got married and lives outside Boston now, and he is a foodie and a beerie and is always talking about beer festivals they go to.

I have lived in BR, Houston, Boston and L.A. I would like to retire in Vermont. I really like that part of the country.

New Hampshire beers are alright, but Vermont is where it's at.

Lawson's, Alchemist, Hill Farmstead...

Just to name a few.

My SO's parents are looking to move to Vermont soon. Would love to be able to have a place to go and visit them.

Maine puts out some great stuff as well: Maine Brewing Co, Allagash, Lone Pine, Rising Tide, Liquid Riot

Maine does have great brew selections.

I'm taking a trip with a couple buddies next Saturday to Portland. Going to most of the places you just named and a couple more (Bissell Brothers is a must)

Yes I will one day. I'm either moving to Colorado or Florida. When I retire all I want to do is Golf and snow ski.

There aren't places I'd move to. PNW, upstate NY, NY city, Southern California, Utah, etc

But I like it here in Nashville too

Makes no sense.

Portland and Seattle values not same as louisiana. They are bastions of ecotopian ethics.

If you are looking at some interior burg 200 miles from the nearest whole foods, ok.

Well...

Since people other than me consider kentucky not the south I'd move to Lexington.

Going to be different for nearly everyone. I'd either want mountains (PNW, Utah, Colorado, Montana - and yeah I'm in Utah now), a clean and large city environment, or coast/beaches. Or some combination of a couple of those. No plains, no fly-over suburbs.

From the South. Moved out to So Cal, and living in Santa Monica I have 3/3.
