Money does not play a factor

Most southern mindsets fare better out west, AZ, CO, NM, UT, OK than anywhere else...

Tried that. Lived in a couple different locations around the country. Couldn't wait to get back to Louisiana and hope I never have to leave again.

If money was no object, somewhere in Arizona or in San Diego.

No I'll stay right where I'm at. I like Saturday nights in Death Valley and fishing to marsh too much to leave.

just curious, why NYC over boston? Granted I've never been to NYC but boston is awesome.

Boston is great and we love it here.

But it's NY's little brother for sure. NY has more to offer in terms of entertainment, restaurants, bars, etc. But of course, it's more expensive to live in. But the OP said money isn't a factor, so I'd have a penthouse overlooking Central Park and a driver.

I will say that the beer scene in Boston blows NY out of the water.

Mother Russia will always be home, but her breasts of honey and milk have turned into fields of frozen turnips and despair.

Fiji.

I've been all over, and I love the South, but give me a few hundred million and I'm on the coast somewhere in Fiji.

I lived my whole life in the south, although the wife claims texas is not the south, until 2001. Moved to Colorado, and can't imagine moving back despite most of my family being there.

the south has some pluses to it, everyplace does. But I much prefer the relaxed atmosphere of colorado to anyplace in the south.
