re: If you could go back to 18, would you do it? What life choices would you change?

If I could turn back time, I would have signed up with Uncle Sam and joined the military.
I am envious of my younger brother who did and has literally flown the world over on the government dime.
Now had I done that, I probably would have seen the tough times in the military as I would have been 20 when 9/11 happened. My brother lucked out and did a light tour in Afghanistan while saying chiefly in the green zone so he didn’t have to deal with combat missions way after the hard battles were fought.

Otherwise you'd just live the exact same life over again.
What's wrong with that? I might or might not change something if I went back, but the last 28 years have been a fricking blast. Why wouldn't I go back to 18 and do it all again? Have you never ridden a roller coaster twice?

I'm 18 now. What should I do my brothers?

I’ve made plenty of poor choices and I faced many challenges but my character and drive have been forged by iron because of this.

I had some talent in baseball. MSU started talking to me at 16. I got lazy. Stopped working out. I think about it all the time. Wish I would have taken it serious. Would probably be a college baseball coach right now. That was my dream job.

There is no looking back. I would be dead either way.

Did you ever see the video?
YouTube
It’s Cher in her better days in fish nets and singing on a naval vessel.

I like to pretend that I would have done things so much differently, but the reality is I that I am who I am because of the path I took. I would have done most things the same.

If you're going back in time without knowledge of doing so, then you wouldn't even realize you're living your life over or be able to appreciate it.

I just want to go back 15 years to age 44, and take a little better care of myself. Once you get into your 50's, it's tough to get back in shape. Exercise can be restricted by how healthy your joints are.

I would have left the state for college and changed majors.

On Westworld, it seems people keep doing the same shite over and over when given the opportunity.

Lower my standards. I was a decent looking guy and shouldn’t have slept alone ever but I was always trying for the hottest girls. Turned my nose up at 5s when that should have been my target all along. Missed out on some great nubbin I’m sure.

I would go back in a heartbeat. Can't say I would really change anything, but it has been a fun ride and I would love to do it all over again....

I have two kids that I adore. I would go through the shite with their Mom again, so I could have them. I wouldn't change anything for fear of not having them.

I would want to go back to age 19 and make sure I put the condom on that was sitting right there on the dresser. 18 years of child support is/was a bitch to deal with.
