If you could go back to 18, would you do it? What life choices would you change?

I would probably go to school at a different university and go for something related to the medical field, such as nursing or respiratory therapy. Those fields are becoming more and more in demand. And then obviously that would change every decision that I would have to make from that time onward.

Don't look back in anger
I heard you say
Least not today

I’d go back and make it a point to save at least 20% of every dollar I have made since then.

I don't think I would change a thing. The road has been rocky, even hellacious at times, but I'm very much at peace right now.

Wouldn’t have tied myself down with a long term GF. Young and dumb though and no regrets.

Would have picked a different major for sure

Am I guaranteed to have my three sons? If so, I’d go back and change a few things. If not, I’m good.

Wouldn’t change anything.
Had a kid at 17. Got done with High school and worked my arse off to get where I am today. Nothing was easy and i had to earn everything. It helped make me into the man I am today.
Two kids one recently married and one graduating from LSU in August. Same high school sweetheart that I am proud to be married to for more than 25years.

Only if I could go back with the knowledge I now possess. When I was in my early 20's the gov. decided to allow people to buy gold on the open market and it came out at $35 an ounce at the time.
Then there was that little fruit company Forrest Gump's Lt. Dan invested in that made him a gazillionaire.
Then knowing the local real estate trends in what areas would become hot and values skyrocket.
If I had to go back and be that same 18 yr. old with the same knowledge I possessed then, hell no. Those were some tough years making it on my own living week to week on what I was making at the time.

I’d pull out of your mom and the TD would be forever in debt.

And the cats and the cradle...
18 huh? Hmmm. Changed some friends, studied more, partied less, finished tryouts.

This
Course....what if you go back...and something differently you do....puts you on a path that leads to your early death?
Oh and I would I have broken up with the guy I was dating then and gotten my BSN from LSU from the get go. Then moved to AZ and look up my now husband...and arrange for our paths to cross again.

I'm pretty happy with everything. I figure I landed in the top 10 percentile of outcomes for my life in the multiverse or whatever.
To get to the top 1 percent, probably pick up at move at 18. Didn't get to where the action was and really drive my career until 10 years later.

Kind of like a Mulligan on the golf course isn't it???
You hit the first shot bad and take a mulligan but the outcome of the second shot is worse than the first.

Other than changing my major I would do everything the same.
and maybe not that because I swerved into a couple of things while I was thrashing about that I am proud I did
