This, there can be no other answer. It is the single most important event in all of history.
I think you would both be disappointed, and this is coming from an atheist who (unlike most Christians) took the time to visit the Holy Land and has stood inside the Aedicule where this supposedly happened.

My mother-in-law who is hard-core Pentecostal Holiness visited the Holy Land and came home pissed off, and now she cannot stand the Greek Orthodox denomination because of it.
She even ruined a relationship with my FIL's niece because she is a member of the Greek Orthodox church and my MIL said some unkind things to her about her church, at a family Christmas party, no less.
Religious fanatics are weird people.

If interactions are involved.
Stop a couple of suicides and needless accidental deaths.
Bring my mom to an MD.
Tell my younger self not to pick up and sleep with few psychos.
If witnessing events,
Battle of Rourke’s Drift. @150 British soldiers against 3000-4000 Zulus, eleven Victoria Crosses awarded.
Patterson film
The last placement of the Ark of the Covenant
The Nicole Brown/Ron Goldman Murders

Sounds like an interesting class.
My favorite class in college was Biomedical Ethics. Some fun discussions in that class. I like these type of "outside the norm" classes that also involve a lot of class involvement and interesting topics and conversations.

Would love to go back and see the Allmand Brothers band at Filmore East when Duane was alive.

The Nicole Brown/Ron Goldman Murders
Of allllll the murders in history, this is your #1 and a top 5 thing to see of everything?
I can tell you what happened. NBS came out to confront OJ and he got mad. OJ knocked NBS out by hitting her head, then pulled her up while she was face down and stabbed her neck almost decapitating it. RG approached NBS and OJ grabbed him from behind. While OJ stabbed RGs face, Ron grabbed OJs left hand, pulling off the glove and scratching him. OJ took off and left the glove then got in a slow police chase in his white Bronco as the world watched

JFK’s assassination specifically to be near the grassy knoll and see what actually happened is the first one to come to mind.

Joe is just a symptom and not the disease, dude. They’d just find someone else to do all the horrors we’ve seen over the past four years, so dumb use of your time travel.
If you really wanted to change history for the better, you’d be waiting at a cafe in Sarajevo around 10:00 AM and wait for Gavrilo Princip to walk in.

The Flood. What did the earth look like immediately before and after?
Well spoiler alert, but that didn’t actually happen, and the reason every civilization has a flood myth is because almost all civilizations started around rivers that tend to flood somewhat regularly.

Yeah, we all know what happened there and it’d just be horrific to witness. There are many, many more interesting and perplexing murders than that, like Phillip the Second, JFK, Caesar, Lincoln, Francis Ferdinand, Pompey, Rasputin, and likely Alexander the Great.

Seeing the founding father in person and witnessing their interactions and debates would be up there for me.

If I were given unlimited time and could read the languages, then I’d definitely choose to go to the Library of Alexandria and read everything I could there.

There have absolutely been massive floods throughout the history of the earth. It’s not just because some people lived by rivers

I would have liked to have been alive way back in the days of yore before there were Poptarts or the Ford ‘Mustang or the 8 track cartridge when Ole Miss won an SEC championship in football.so long ago in a world that no longer exists.

The bible is bullshite to begin with, I have no interest in trying to look for all the things that probably never happened. If anything, I’d go back in time far enough to find the very first small group of 1-3 people that were just about to plant the seed that starts the entire religion and try to take them out before the bullshite started to propagate and expand into the power and control complex that it became. The same way I would try to go back to before Hitler came into power in Germany and slaughtered people and I’d try to take him out.
I’d visit with my family and friends that have died to have conversations with them again. If you had a time machine it would negate the entire appeal of christianity in that way to begin with. To spend time with the dead people we miss again.

I would like to sit in on and listen to a lot of the discussions and debates of our founding fathers.
all of it.
from the first hints of any sort of organization of a revolution.
discussion surrounding Declaration.
discussion on forming the government, the constitution, Bill of rights, etc.

Anything from antiquity. Hannibal running elephants on the battlefield in Italy, a trip to the coliseum mostly just to check out the concessions and bathroom lines, any naval battle like Salamis, seeing Alexander the Great have sex with men.
Would also love to see the Spaniards entering Tenochtitlan.
