Just checked out their schedule for the year and it’s underwhelming. I’d go see several of those concerts but not at Gruene. I can go see Reckless Kelly play at a local hole in the wall.

The Who at The Isle of Wight Festival. I think it was 1970. Played a bunch of their best hits then all of Tommy start to finish.

I got to admit, it was an epic concert.

I had already seen him twice, nearly 30 years ago. They were in NO and Laffy. They were good concerts, but him playing in TS was epic. Greater than any of theCountry MusicFestivals they had a few years ago

Not really a concert, but how cool would have been to be at the club on Beale St in Memphis, with a very young Elvis, BB King, Mahalia Jackson, Kittle Richard?

Grateful Dead - Winterland Arena - Dec. 31 1978

Pretty tough to beat ringing in a new year with the Dead in their prime. There are a few shows from Europe 1972 is also up there.

This is really tough.

Grateful Dead Conrnell 77 - thank you Betty's Board for the magical recording - peak dead

Pink Floyd 1980 Earls Court The Wall -

Allman Brothers Fillmore with Duanne- may be tops

I'll have to think on this one for a while to narrow down to 1st place.

Not sure if it counts as a “concert” but count me in for Prince at the Super Bowl Halftime show. In the rain.
