I saw Queen at the Riverfront Centroplex in 1980. I had no idea how big a deal that was at the time.

The Who at Redemptorist.

They were the warm-up band for Herman's Hermits.

My brother was there.

1964 Beatles in City Park Stadium
To my eternal regret, the 15 yr old cheapskate me, refused to spend the $5 for a gen admission ticket. I bought a $3.98 Beatles album instead and pocketed the change. Really missed out on a piece of history.

I saw them in 1992 in the dome when they were touring with Guns n Roses. Faith No More opened.

Metallica was badass! I would go see them again in a second. They're awesome live.

GnR sounded great (I mean the band) Axl Rose sounds horrible in person and he got mad and started hollering when people started to sit down (everyone stood the entire time Metallica was performing).

Faith No More was pretty good but the only song I knew was Epic.

To this day, I still talk about that performance from Metallica. It was so great. I still have the ticket from the concert.

I was there. They played in Baton Rouge and Biloxi the same week. That was Axel’s laryngitis tour. He was awful.

Second was KISS in their prime - 1979 at the Centroplex with the original lineup.
My 1st was KISS in '76. Opening the show a was little known metal band with their original lead singer. You may have heard of them by now: AC/DC with Bon Scott.

But I'd pick to go back and do again, Deep Purple in Dallas, Reunion Arena for their reunion tour 1985.

Probably Rush.

Second, the real Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Waylon Jennings gig or maybe Johnny Cash. Did they ever play a show together? If so I choose that one.

Mine would be an unplugged but there are so many I would have a hard time choosing. Several concerts at Gruene Hall, too.

Beatles, Shea Stadium 1965. 55,000 in attendance, unheard of at that time.

That's a tough one, and I don't know I can pick one over another. Any of these would be amazing for me.

Elvis '68 Comeback Special in the audience
Live Aid in London...watched part of it on TV back in the day, and there is no way something like that would be done today.
Freddie Mercury tribute concert by Queen
U2 on the Zoo Tv outdoor transmission leg
Prince
Johnny Cash at Folsom (but would not want to be an inmate)

I'm sure I could go on..lol but these would be my top ones

For stopping for a beer at an old dance hall? Okay, I guess so, but there wasn’t even anyone playing.

Sorry. That wasn't necessarily to you. Just had to fit it in somewhere.
