This reminds me of a Ford Geo
And when I think about a Ford Geo it reminds me of a time, it was me and 2 or 3 other people, not sure where we were coming back from, but we were on I12 heading towards Baton Rouge. We were going.. over 80.. and this beat to shite Ford Geo with gray spots on it (as if it had been prepared to paint) passed us up and left us in the dust.
I know it doesn't sound funny just reading it, but at the time it was funny as hell. And the driver was pushing it... That car sounded like it was about to explode.

I have a 97 Lexus Landcruiser...bout to start down the path to fixing it up.
I also have a 97 LC 40th anniversary edition. Been trying to get to a point where I can restore it to its original form. Previous owner painted it white. Original color was hunter green, but I'd like to go with something like this:
Have you considered vinyl wrapping instead of paint? It's a very low cost point compared to automotive paint

I had a Cutlass like that and it just rusted to pieces. Pretty sad.
I don’t think that’s a Cutlass.

I bet you're a really hardcore Ford guy. I mean, you probably wouldn't get caught dead in a Chevy.

It's not a Cutlass, but it's an "A body." This family included the Monte Carlo, Grand Prix, Buick Regal, etc.
Back then, GM was criticized for sharing so much in common across divisions. My '77 Cutlass S shared most of its suspension parts with something called a Chevy Laguna S3.
The '77 Cutlass Supreme was very similar to the Monte Carlo in that picture I quoted. Hard to tell apart from the side at any distance, though GM did put a little work into making the grills look different.
