I have a 97 Lexus Landcruiser...bout to start down the path to fixing it up.

I also have a 97 LC 40th anniversary edition. Been trying to get to a point where I can restore it to its original form. Previous owner painted it white. Original color was hunter green, but I'd like to go with something like this:

<----Had a '90 Civic hatchback, manual transmission, dealer-installed A/C.

Bought it new for $6,800, put a decent AM/FM Cassette player & speakers in it, drove it for a year & 1/2 (50k), got $6,500 for it.

I had a Cutlass like that and it just rusted to pieces. Pretty sad.

My dumbass had the opportunity to have one of these. It was a nasty rusty color and was 13 at the time Pops offered it to me.
I turned my nose up at it and he sold it.
6 months later we are working in the garden and see a black one with red SS emblems on it and of course it was the one my pops sold.
I’m an idiot, I know.

240Z is in my wheelhouse, but I’d love to restore a 51 Mercury, or a 71 Cuda. A 58 Vette would be a dream car too. I have to be realistic though.
