Somewhere in the mountains, maybe the Rockies working at a resort ski town. Also try to find a weeknight gig playing piano in a dive bar for free drinks.

I'd try to get a job at a top level tour guide company like Backroads.

Boat launch / bait shop / liquor store, and sell bbq chicken on the weekends. Bad side is that I would have to wake up early.

If I didn’t have 3 kids that I love so much it hurts, I’d walk out on my job and wife tomorrow, no hesitations.

Move to Kansas, S.Dakota, Montana, or somewhere in the Midwest and drive a tractor for a living.

Bartending sucks. Fairly tough way to make a living. Just one man’s opinion but one who has spent a fair amount of time on his feet pouring drinks for jackasses.

Or maybe:

I’d like to run a bar/grill along the coast in Maui.

In my younger days I dreamed of being a strip club reviewer/critic. I’d let it slip to the “entertainers” who I was so I’d be guaranteed extra attention. Sadly, I never followed though with this career.

If your life is miserable now it’s gonna be just as miserable running a margarita stand. Give it about 2 months and you gonna be saying damn I fricked up. There may be some bull shite feel good stories on here but most folks I’ve met or know who did that are still miserable in their new “paradise” Most recent one I can think of moved to Colorado about 2 years ago. Regrets the shite out of it, others to Florida, most are still miserable people.

I sometimes think it would be great to just walk away from my career and run a margarita stand at the beach making 10 bucks an hour, maybe bartend.

What happens when you get sick, or worse, unable to work due to some debilitating disease?

I don't think it'd be great for me to be responsible for your arse. So, get your head out of your arse and carry your on fricking weight. I got enough problems of my own that I don't want you pulling off my tax dollar or shitting on the sidewalk when you're homeless and part of the problem...Merry Christmas...

Yep. Drunk people are a lot less fun when you're dealing with them instead of getting drunk.

Some combination of a general store/coffee shop/beer store in a mountain town. And yes, I'd love to do it.

Beachside tiki bar in an unspoiled/low commercialized location serving whatever fish was caught that day ala street tacos or whatever I felt like fixing.....if anything.
