Burger Chef is now Hardees. Hardees bought them out several years ago.

Blimpies was one of a few places that took OOS checks in the late 70's.

I was raised in NBR many years ago. Delmont Village was BR's only shopping center before Bon Marche came into existence. Having said that, does anyone remember Leons Italian Kitchen that was on Scenic Highway or very close to it.

You know that there’s still one fast track location by the sunshine bridge, right?
no that is not a fast track inside of that gas station. It was 20 years ago. But not anymore. It just an old sign

Calendars...minus the murder.

Used the Rush Limbaugh commercial made in the early 90s until the end.

I have seen a sign for Ground Pati in Houma. Have not been there, though.

I'd like to have Whataburger here in Gainesville. I ate them a ton in Ocala would be a nice flash back from the past.

I'd trade every Krystals in Florida for a good BBQ place here

I used to love a place called Gibson's when I was a kid growing up. I think it was on Winbourne.

Wow. Fond memories of my dad taking the family there to pick up tamales.

Cool. Was not aware of that. Those kid's meals in the box were my favorite.

Many of the places that are being mentioned still are open, albeit in different locations.

There are several Ground Pati locations, including Lafayette, Houma, & Metairie.

There were Godfathers in BR for a while; I used to order from the one at Jones Creek at Tiger Bend pretty regularly. They’re still open in many other areas.

As stated earlier, I had Roy Rogers this past summer in PA, and there are Captain D’s all over.

I ate at a Morrison’s in Mobile a few years back, although it wasn’t the same as I remembered the one in VA that I used to eat back in the 80s.

There’s a Weinerschnitzel right by LSU.

There are Shoneys all over as well... one in Gretna is still open I believe, and Morgan City

Had Herbie-K’s this past Friday in Shreveport

There’s a Nooley’s in Prairieville, and another in Nashville (some employees from the old Jones Creek location work there).

I also see many people saying Panchos, but remember they opened one on Siegen a few years ago, and for the first few weeks there was a line out the door and hour-long waits... within 2 years they were closed.
