I didn't read through this entire thread, but here's the deal -
If you are in the left hand lane and you see someone coming up on you, going faster than you, GET OVER.
It's that simple.
So many times there are folks in the left hand lane that have no business being there. If you bumped up to 67 to pass the two 18- wheeler's going 64, then good for you. Get around them and get over.
If you look in your rear view mirror and you see cars piling up on your rear end.... you've got 2 choices:
A.) Speed up
B.) Get over
If not, that's me flashing you with my brights encouraging you to make 1 of those 2 decisions.

Do you have the right to bitch someone out that's going 75 in the left lane?
Technically speaking if a state trooper saw someone driving 75 in a 70 in the left lane and a car came up behind them doing say 90 and wanted to pass and the driver doing 70 didnt move to the right lane as quickly as possible the state trooper could ticket both drivers.
Long story short, you're an a-hole if you drive in the left lane don't care how fast you are going.

To illustrate a point, you can travel slower than the posted speed limit. Imagine someone doing 55 or 60 in the left lane.
Bottom line, just because your current speed is legal still doesn't mean you can choose which lane to travel in.
Left = passing
Right = cruising
That's it.

My best guess is that 8 out of 10 drivers have no idea what "flash to pass" is.

The left lane is not to cruise in no matter how fast you are going because somebody could always be going faster. It is made to pass.

Good talk, retards. See you in two days when this EXACT SAME THREAD comes up again and you morons say the same shite all over again like it's Groundhog Day or something.

The two biggest killers on roads are alcohol and speed. FACT
Untrue. ever been on the AutoBohn? I used to drive it back when it truly had no speed limit and they were VERY strict about not driving in the left lane, for passing only and had way less accidents per capita than us because drivers knew the law.

One thing I’ve discovered over the years is that no matter how fast I go in the left lane — 80, 90, 100 — there’s always someone who wants to go faster. So GTFO of the way.

Ride in the right, pass in the Left

The speed doesn't fricking matter. If you're not passing, or if someone is raging on your arse, get the frick over.

speed limit or speed you are going doesnt matter.
if you are keeping up with the flow of traffic and you watch the rear view mirror and move to the right lane to let faster traffic that comes up behind you pass, then there is nothing wrong with driving in the left lane

Your argument is based on a flawed principle. You bitch at those tho break the law by cruising in the left lane while you break a law by speeding. Why do you expect someone to obey that sign while you ignore a speed limit sign?
Talk about flawed logic. My breaking the speed limit has zero to do with your either being too lazy or ignorant to keep your slower arse in the right lane.
