Why gardere? The lowest spot?

Because that's where the government would breach the levee obviously.

Monet Weir has nice tits and Bob Weir wrote "Cassidy" and "Sugar Magnolia". I'd be okay with that.

All I know is that the levees failing in BR will cause the price of crawfish to rise.

The first 30 pages or so of the Morganza Spillway thread discusses this very topic.

Also, the levees not failing will cause the price of crawfish to rise.

Hurricane Andrew is the only thing I've ever seen lower crawfish prices.

Water would fill in up to Highland road like a bowl. Brightside would be 20’-25’ underwater. Water would flow into Spanish lake. Anything along Burbank and Nicholson like out to U-Club.. 15’ underwater. Water would flow into Spanish lake and inundate Ascension Parish and eventually flow out to Lake Maurepas.

Realistically, there is essentially a 0% chance this ever happens.

And if it somehow did, I think a decision would be quickly made to blow up the west side of the levee somewhere north of Baton Rouge to attempt to mitigate damages in the BR area.

Find a Topographical Map that shows elevations.

Then look at the current river level.

All land that is lower than the river height level has the potential to flood.

Note: The water will spread out and may not reach the same height as the river.

Bring in Alabama's defense and Tiger Stadium's endzones will remain untouched.
