shouldn't we be pushing for more gay adoptions so that two fathers will be in the child's life?

You know, I just realized I don't have any Dad Dad friends. I have 1 Mom Mom friendship and they are pretty good parents. Not at all what I consider awkward and Junior is super cool.

The point, I believe, is having two parents. I know gay couples with kids and those kids are very well adjusted, do well in school, are polite, etc. The parents are also present and active in the kid's lives -- that makes a huge difference, too. Not to mention financial stability.

Since we are going with sports analogies... What if one's only a pitcher and one's only a catcher?? There would have to be more alpha than beta in the pitcher, right? Seems like the pitcher could be a good father figure?
