If everyone in the world, not living in the lower 48, died tomorrow.

Where do you think would be the hot spots of migration from the lower 48 across the globe?

So you're asking where Alaskans would go after the apocalypse?

Sail our ketch to Ali Mauana harbor and settle on the north slope (the wet side) of the big island. Kill wild hogs, grow fruit, live high enough to survive tsunamis.

I do know people who swear that parts of Morocco could be heaven on earth.

Islands that would have enough seafood and a climate that didn't require too much effort: Japan, England, Ireland. Maybe New Zealand, if I were young enough to take advantage of the hot water springs for heating.

It's the best place to ride out the apocalypse along with the Yukon and northern BC..

Barring a direct meteor strike of course.

Well, the Germans seemed to want Russia awfully bad, for some reason. Of course, the winters there suck...

Yes, also the airports and shipping ports wouldn't be immediately manned overseas.

I would prefer this scenario:

If everyone in the world, not living in the lower or not Russian babes between 18-39, died tomorrow ...

I'd go to Russia.

Somewhere around the Mediterranean Sea. Rome would be nice (exploring everything and living in the Vatican).
