Idiot SIL just arrived after being exposed to ‘rona for the past week

30 minutes before arriving at my house my sister in law (trust me, you don’t want pix) calls my wife (no pix) and tells her she was just notified that a co-worker tested positive. Wife immediately asks me what to say and I remind her we are going to be around elderly family members over the next couple of days and everyone should use their best judgement. No way I’m going to be the a-hole that tells her family to turn around and drive 3 hours back home. They decide that it’s ok for them to come if they wear a mask. Can I get an OT ruling on this situation ?

Sorry to tell you, but part of being the man of the family is making the call on things like this. Step up and tell your SIL you’re sorry but they’ve got to turn around if that’s what you think is best.
