Left apartment around 2:45, at around 3:30 he was spotted in a neighborhood to the east of the crime scene and just a few minutes later near the scene. Actual murder happened around 4:15. He was around for a while- not sure what happened between 3 and 3:30 though.

It has bothered me that the dog didn't bark.
Was the loud whimper the dog being kicked/thrown out doors. The paper describes the sound of a dog barking after 4:15.
Did he leave fast to get away from the dog?

Why is everyone acting like we have seen all the evidence.
This was just the report used to secure an arrest.
Then they get to search his house, computer, car, etc. for more evidence. Sure he had a month to clean all that up but you never know what other clues they can find.

Did he seem to stalk one girl more than the others?

Y’all are trying to get into the kind of a psychopath. Don’t over think it. The motive for the killing is separate from why he killed all four and in what order. He likely had a motive with a target when he entered, then circumstances presented themselves that lead to at least two impulse killings , if not three. From a forensic psych standpoint, you have to view it that way and not mix the two.

This is unclear to me still but your timeline makes sense.
He saw the room mate that survived AFTER being upstairs. So he went and killed the 2 downstairs AFTER walking past the girl that survived? Seems absurd?
Something has to be missing. Like maybe the boyfriend woke up and confronted him, that's why the 2nd two died?
4:00am- DoorDash delivery
4:04am- killer's car seen on camera entering subdivision
"shortly after" 4:00am- sounds coming from third floor which witness assumed was victim playing with her dog. Witness also hears victim on third floor say "there's someone here." (this was probably when the two victims on the third floor were killed)
4:12am- Victim on second floor is on TikTok.
4:17am- crying and a loud thud heard from victim on second floor's room.
"shortly after" 4:17am- witness sees killer leave.
4:20am- Killer's car seen leaving area.
This all seemed to be laid out pretty clearly to me in the affidavit.

12 different times the dude was in their area prior to the murders 11 of those 12 times was late night early morning hours. He followed them on social media. I'm guessing there will be far more evidence of stalking coming down the pike.
The guy is guilty as shite, but they are college students. Its 10 mins from his house? I don't see any of this as evidence he was stalking their house. He may have had a favorite late night snack or study partner that lived nearby. IDK

Does your source know anything else ;)

Nah they were killed at 3-4am, and the police weren't called until around 10am.
I think one of the survivors heard commotion but was intoxicated, and woke up to tell them to be quiet. They thought the boyfriend that was killed and his GF were just having rough sex or fighting I believe.
Please read the available reports before correcting people with erroneous information. People like Oweo will be on here in a month, citing your post as a source.

It was spread out and I wasn't following their names.

I haven't said such a thing.

Thanks captain obvious.

And it's enough to convict. There is more evidence in this report than they ever had on Scott Peterson and we all know where he's at currently.
Yes, more evidence to come but the affidavit has enough to prove it was him. That's it, nothing more nothing less.

I don’t know if any of y’all follow Gray Hughes’s YouTube channel, but he’s one of of the best true crime guys out there. Kinda a dick—I enjoy his sense of humor, though—but he doesn’t wildly speculate and shuts a lot of ridiculous stuff down until the facts come out. He’s also really good at building 3D models. He’s had one of the house and what he believed was the path through it that the killer likely took.
Anyway, he’s reading the whole affidavit now with his model along side. Makes it easier to follow. Here’s the link if anyone’s interested.

Explain to me what happened then? Its unclear
His vehicle was seen driving by the house 3 times between 3:26-4am. He was seen driving by a 4th time at 4:04am. It isn't seen again until 4:20am when it is seen driving away from the scene at a high rate of speed.
ETA: I'm assuming he was looking at lights and movement in the house and was waiting until he felt everyone was asleep.

Where do I read the affidavit?

Yeh i guess we’d have to know the area and time the phone sat still.
If some girls live in a house on state street in BR and a guy is in that area for 1 hour or more 12 times over a span of 3 months totaling let’s say 16 hours give or take, that doesn’t necessarily mean said guy was stalking the state street girls. There are bars and restaurants and shops etc on state street.
But if the king street area is all homes, and he’s was on that street for around an hour at a time multiple times, and the phone is pinging in front or behind THAT house, that’s shady.
