Case by case basis. This case, let the kid go, you can find him later at school if needed. In the case of a multiple murderer, serial rapist, and arsonist, you assume the id is fake and arrest him, while Democrats are cussing you.

Our mayor is posting about it on Facebook. It’s real. Feel free to look him up if you want, but I’ve already posted what he said. My kid plays soccer with him. He really is detained. And it’s just him, not his entire family so that throws the whole “maybe the asylum was BS” angle out the window.
Here’s a link to the soccer coach tearing up when he was trying to talk about it. This is the first time a news agency has even acknowledged any of this.

Assuming what you say is correct, you are admitting you are reacting to second-hand rumors and gossip. You don’t have all of the relevant evidence nor are you privy to the information ICE was relying upon.
There is a legal process in immigration matters where the alien can present evidence at a hearing in front of an immigration judge. If what you say is true, then this young man has nothing to worry about. Legal aliens do not get deported. He’ll be back on those soccer fields faster than Speedy Gonzales.

He’s been detained for 3 days. If he’s a legal resident, what’s an acceptable amount of time to detain a legal US resident with no proof of any crime?

They haven’t done it for “ages” lol most of the numbers the Obama administration counted were turned away at the border. Trump is the first President that you or I have experienced that is actually deporting anyone in consequential numbers.
