I would personally get a pickup truck...you should be able to get a single cab or an extended cab for $30K....particularly if you can wait until the new model years are coming out...

1) Accord
2) Camry
3) Base modal Explorer/Grand Cherokee
4) Base pickup

Surely you have some sort of preference or idea of how long you're going to keeping, thoughh

Don't get a truck. Sometimes, I'm convinced I'm leaking gas all over the road.

Accord (got one I could sell you, 2014)
Camry

Can't go wrong with these two cars. Reliable, solid resale value.

Kinda need to decide if you want a truck or a car. Big difference there.

new cars are the dumbest way to spend your money. you're just throwing away half the value when you go to sell it.

I actually really like it. Had a 2013, totaled it, and bought the same one in 2014. I can also say it is safe. It's really a good car, great power (V6), good gas mileage (27 mpg average), and great amenities (safety features, blind spot camera, backup camera, LED DRLs, Nav, etc.).

I just want something RWD with more power. Been eyeing something different.

I was actually looking at the v6 accord....think it has damn near 300hp. I just can't justify spending 30k on a Honda.

But....

If I'm going to spend only 30k on a brand new car, the accord probably is the best value (most features)
