It’s astounding to me how often people say this without knowing how stupid they sound.

Wearing a mask doesn’t protect you, it protects others from you. How selfish do you have to be not to wear a mask to protect others from you?

No it doesn't.

It protects you from politicians and Karens not viruses.

These masks don't do a damn thing other than take the emphasis off of hand washing and not touching your face which I guarantee you offers protection for yourself.

Your stupid mask is making you touch your face much more than you already do.

Touching your face is very high risk.

Your mask actually causes you to engage in one of the riskiest behaviors you can engage in.

Face touching. But you would need critical thinking skills to recognize this.

The mask is not to protect the wearer.

Go sneeze on your bathroom mirror.
Now put on a mask and sneeze on your bathroom mirror.

Is there any difference?

I’m amazed every day by the people who still think that a masks protects the wearer from the virus.

It does not- it protects everyone else in case the wearer is infected.

Eta well i guess tigerbacon beat me to it. And people argue with this?? I just dont get it

I definitely don’t wear one very often unless absolutely necessary and take it off as soon as i can.

I definitely won’t wear one in church.

Haven’t been sick yet from rarely wearing a mask

I go to a small Orthodox Church but we all wear mask. They just spread the chairs out some, not like we sit much anyways in an Orthodox Church.

Now cover your face with your arm and sneeze towards a mirror. I bet it works even better than a mask. And what’s really insane is you can clean your hands or arm with soap kept in your pocket

I don’t know. I can’t see particles that are 0.12 microns in size.

So tell us - are there more, less, or the same amount of particles of that size released in the air (doesn’t matter if they settle on a mirror or not) when wearing the types of face coverings that are most commonly seen in public?

I don’t understand why the government gave churches and private schools 6-7 figures of PPP when they don’t pay taxes. Our church takes in over a million tax free dollars in weekly collections and has rental houses.

The people that work for the church pay taxes.

There must have been 500 people in this place.

There were about 8 of us I counted wearing a mask of any sort. Including those who don’t know the nose goes into the mask. Yes, I know your “breaf” probably stink.

JBE can make all the mandates he chooses. Some folks just like to see the world cough.

By the way, I don’t really care if you choose to wear a mask of not. It seems like if you’re elderly you’re playing with Fire by not having one. Just an observation.

Once you have decided to go to a mass gathering of people you really need to just not give a shite about masks. I mean come on man, you went to a place with 500 people.
