Check out Gustin. It's a crowd-sourced raw, selvedge manufacturer that is half the price of all the other brands that has some really great fitting jeans without all the aggressive stitching on the back pockets. Once you break them in, which takes about a week, they're as soft and comfortable as any of the other jeans out there. Pay attention to the fit guide on their website.

FWIW, they become very soft after breaking them in.
And who cleans their pants constantly? Fresh underwear, fresh socks, fresh shirts, and old jeans is a perfectly fine combo IMO. As long as you didn't shite or piss in them.

Spending $250 on jeans isn't a priority for most people, but a good pair of heavy raw denim can look amazing.
For an online retailer look at self edge, however due to the nature of these jeans I'd highly recommend finding a local store so you can try on different fits. Also, don't have them hemmed by a regular tailor.

My question as well. The swamp arse, tar shits and sundry other jellies from my stink ditch could really funk these jeans up quickly.
These are the most comfortable jeans I have ever owned.

There are many days that at the end of the day, I know my pants need washing, for one reason or another.
I prefer to wash them when that day comes.
Who wants to pay 300 bucks for a pair of pants that I have to spend 6 months breaking in?

Start off with Unbranded denim, either 101 or 201. They run about $100 and are good quality 14.5 oz raw denim that will give you good fades and hold up.
If you want to go up a notch, APC is probably the most popular brand in the $150-$200 category. Beyond that, it's Naked & Famous, Nudie, Rogue Territory, and others that can go from $200-$400.

The thing that disturbs me about not washing clothes is the millions of skin cells shed every day that cling to the fabric and decay as you wear the unwashed clothes.
