They dont appear any different on the outside than a shitty Vape or “tobacco” store. Literally zero difference now than what areas used to look and smell like

Should it be illegal?

I have a controversial opinion, but I think weed smells worse than cigarettes

Gambling fine, whatever. But I cannot stand the smell of weed. I really don't care that people do it, but I hate it when it affects me in any way.

To this day I wish I had ended the party at that moment. After that, the wife and I cut 90% of the guests out of our life and have not spoken to them since. They were my wife’s good friends network from high school.

You cut your wifes good friends out of ya'lls life because they smoked a little reifer at a party . I doubt they liked you to begin with

Drinking responsibly as mature adults, yes….getting hammered like we are in college, no.

I’m not a Southern Baptist.

As many of you know I am a big med pot person. Including inside and outside the pot “pharmacy” I simply don’t smell pot smoke but maybe once a year.

I don’t believe you. Drive on the interstate between BR and NOLA, you’ll smell it. Come to LSU’s campus on a game day; certain games it’s more prevalent than BBQ. Go to a park on a nice day and you’ll undoubtedly smell it.

Before roboto gets all offended, I want it completely legalized and do not want people locked up for possession or use and frankly I want it to be less regulated too. It still annoys me and I dislike it.

My high school friends once thought like you do. Two of them died in their 40’s overdosing on drugs, and one was found dead in a parking lot in Mobile, which was likely due to foul play with his circle of druggies. A third guy hit rock bottom and become sober, and to this day regrets doing drugs. And where did it all start? Weed. The drug they said back in HS which they believed was not a big deal.

Probably with cigarettes and alcohol.

That skunk shite permeates everything.
This.

I was reminded of this in a stay in a cheap hotel the other night. Hallway reeked of skunk weed the night before. And again the next morning. I don't really mind the smell much but it's like people don't give a shite. Why can't you smoke it in the bathroom with the fan on at least instead of filling up the "non-smoking" room with that crap?

It's just trashy people doing trashy things with no sense of common decency. Just so everyone here trying to justify it knows how most people associate the smell of weed. And nothing you can say will make us feel differently. And before you say "well boomer..." I've smoked truckloads of the stuff as a young man but I was at least discreet about it.

This argument is so dumb. You listen to too many DARE commercials. When you took your first sip of alcohol did you immediately start drinking Everclear or did you start with a beer to test the waters? When you rode your first bike did it have training wheels on it or did you start riding a motorcycle? You see how dumb this argument is ?

Wait are you saying weed is the training wheels or wine cooler equivalent of drugs? Because if so, aren’t you proving his point that it’s the gateway drug?

And by gateway drug I’ve found it to mean that the people who used to sell weed were the same people that at least knew people who could/would sell harder stuff. In college, the only time I saw/was offered hard drugs was at the house of a guy who sold us weed. Weed didn’t make me want to do other drugs, but the action of buying it brought me in contact with people that gave me access to other drugs.

It really surprised me as I got older to see how many people I know only seem to like sports because they gambled on the games. I just wanted to see my team(s) win

All gambling does for me is give me a rooting interest in a game that I would otherwise not care about the outcome. It's the same as fantasy football. I watch games that I would give 2 shits about because I have a rooting interest in those games now.

I also watch games with my "teams" and I don't typically bet on those because I already care about the outcome.
