This is my boy Blue. He's a sheltie mix. He's great with my kids and very loyal.

Get a female dane, train her well, keep her fit. She will worship you and protect your family and property.

I have a Siberian Husky I've raised since the time he was 8 weeks old and that little arse never leave my side.

Gotta take a shite? Yep he's right there. Need to shower? Yep paws under the door. If I'm cooking or doing anything he's right by my side and follows me everywhere.

Was definitely tough to train but it paid off. Wouldn't trade him for anything.

Weird. Huskies are generally known for their peculiar temperament and independence.

I have a half golden retriever, half yellow lab female. She is awesome. Very, very sweet dog. She's not two yet, so still goofy as hell.

Yeah it's nuts. Trained off leash and everything. Took a whole lot of work but he absolutely loves me. It's funny, really.

Any dog can be taught loyalty. I've owned labs that were horrible (because I was horrible owner.)

I currently have a lab mix and tree walker coon hound from the shelter. After learning how to raise a dog they are the 2 best and most loyal dogs I've ever owned. Those bitches would walk off a cliff for me.

There are about a million puppy selector guides on the web. Lets you weed out the breeds by your preferences.

The most loyal dog I ever owned was a brindle pit. He didn't give a damn about another soul in the world but me and mine.

Buddy had a Rhodesian. Coolest. Dog. Ever. Very loyal, unbelievably tough, and brave enough to hold a lion at bay.

It amazes me more southern guys don't like the American Bulldog. It is THE dog of the South. And they are loyal to the death.

Love American Bulldogs. Never had one though, as they might not be the best for areas that have a lot of livestock.

Around here any dog that messes with cattle, sheep or horses gets an automatic death sentence with no complaints by the owners.

Other than that and their prey drive they have great instincts.

I believe Boxers and Pits are extremely loyal to their clan too. Those are probably 2 of the last dogs I'd have but maybe they work for you.

Our Golden. At 1 year we could walk him without a leash. If he wanted to run off or go somewhere we just reminded him to stay with us and he did. He is the most loyal dog I know. He also can't stand arguing and like a rat terrier can't deal with physical "horse play". He jumps in to break it up.
