They are just as happy to leave and get back to their routine as well

As a parent that traveled to visit the kiddos, I can attest to this.

Kids (no matter the age) are exhausting.

Mine have been together in the Family Cemetery since 1996.

I don’t want to see them again after all this time.

They will be gone for good before you know it. Then you’ll wish you could spend more time with them.

fricking exhausting.

How did I live with these people for so long?

I wish i had the chance to be exhausted by mine. Just one more time. I'd never wish for another thing.

I love my parents, and see them almost daily ...just wish they wouldn't talk incessantly during LSU games! ;)

Probably cause they gave life to you and paid for everything that happened in your life till you were 30.

One day they will die, then ask how you will feel.

Sucks, but it's true

I don’t mind when they try to tell me what to do, because I can ignore them. However, when I tell my kids one thing and they try to come over my head is when I lose my shite. My parents always comment on how well behaved our kids are then come right behind me and try to undermine how I am raising them. It is infuriating.

I’m sure they thought the same of you for 34 years. You’re blessed you still have them, please value every minute you have with them, one day you will truly miss them.
