I am the same way with them. My company has COX business fiber which is really badass and they give us top notch customer service. AT&T kept hartsssing me to switch to their service.
Finally I told their sales rep I would rather have a string and 2 cans than AT&T. This seemed to have put me in their direction by call list.

frick AT&T. frick any service they offer. frick each and every one of the absolutely useless people who "work" for them. frick any and everything they have done, are doing, or are planning to do.

I like Verizon’s plans, but their service sucks where I live. I’ve had friends that switched and had to go back. ATT has a lock in my area right now.

Yeah frick them and their shitty customer service. We switched to Verizon a few weeks ago and it's been night and day.

I dropped them for phone and moved to T-mobile for pretty much that reason. Some dumbass combined my internet and phone bill without me asking, which cost me almost $200 in prorated charges over a few months, and no one with AT&T wanted to do a thing about it. Their customer service socks. Not to mention they changed my service plan with little more than a "oh hey, guess what" e-mail, which also increased my bill. Frick AT&T.

T-mobile's cell service is a bit sketchy right now depending on where I'm, but their customer service has been amazing so far. When I call, I get someone in Texas, not fricking India like AT&T.

I made the worst tech-related mistake of my life when I got pissed with Cox, made a short-sighted mistake, got it reamed in deep then snapped off when I chose AT&T for internet/cable.

There are no words to properly express my raging, murderous hatred of those piss-drinking, baby-raping, nut-sack taint-wad, sister rim-jobbing, granny incest, bunghole-plungers.




So far it's been 6 months of hell, lies, incompetence, and total failure to deliver a single reliable service they offer while they they switch me around from Direct TV, ATT Universe, ATT TV Now, and back and forth while installation "tech" blame sales, sales blames, support, support sends more installation, I've got trenches in my yard, loose cable everywhere in my yard, had heated verbal altercations in my house between customer service reps and installation crew, failed satellite attempts, a total clusterf#ck, ACH service for AT&T keeps charging my card and Regions Bank says there's no way to stop pay on an ACH. I think the most unspeakable, vile, physical acts of mortal contempt for AT&T.

Cricket is awesome. I still get 5 lines for 100 even. They never charge me anything more.

AT&T has a hard time not sucking at everything they do.

I was suckered into AT&T PCS service back in the mid 90s. It was cheap and had such a low bit rate that it barely useable. Didn't matter which phone was used.
Eventually switched back to Alltel (mutated into Verizon) and won't go back.

AT&T sucks balls.

That's how I feel about Total Wireless (which uses either the AT&T network or the Verizon network depending on your device type).

I don't get why people go with one of those name carriers with a contract. Seems like I'm paying less than 50% of what I paid them now. And it's 100% more predictable.
