slumlords love section 8, as long as they meet the minimal guidelines, they can charge high rent, and our tax dollars line these jackasses pockets.
What you have going on now, is shitheads from Tejas buying up houses in blighted/run down areas, and renting them out to even bigger shitheads, and what was sort of a turd area turns into a full pile of shite. And we keep paying for these shitheads.

Section 8 term limits are the answer, end generational users. 5 years and get out. That's the spirit in which the program was intended. Excluding handicapped and elderly.

profit is never a good motive for charity. We see that over and over and over. If people won’t help our communities without profit that is a bigger problem than TRYING to make a profit off of it. Profit keeps the wrong people in power for way too long without any options for the disadvantaged. Like I said, this is another example of how it doesn’t trickle down. Wealth made on the backs of the poor just keeps going up while they get absolutely nothing.
