You are an unhinged idiot. IDIOT.

Turn off the caps lock, and try to make a point and make it clear.

Are you against fascist schemes set up by New Deal and Great Society "progressives" and their progeny? So am I.

Eta: I am not sufficiently familiar w OP to know whether he is trolling. Has to be.

Section 8 money is the best money, because it's guaranteed and is deposited straight in the landlords bank account each month by Uncle Sam.

And it's a death knell for Communities when greedy people take the $ and say "screw the place" I grew up in.

Guy my dad worked with about 20 years ago owned Section 8 -- he basically said it was a license to steal...

He was basically guaranteed his money and anything they tore up, the government paid him to fix.

Well let’s kill 2 Birds with one stone and just Eliminate section 8.

This.

I know people that invest in Section 8 properties. Any business plan that is wholly reliant on the federal gov't as a source of income is doomed to fail. Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow. But, at some point, it will fail.

while these individuals and families are living in substandard, unhealthy conditions where they aren’t even able to control the thermostats, where they have to bathe in a 50* bathroom

You neglected to mention they are also, on average, the WORST tenants. I've seen busted walls, appliances ripped out, bathtubs busted, etc. from people that either left or were kicked out in less than a year. Hell, one lady decided she didn't like the color of the carpet so she burned a big spot with her iron then complained. That's why she (and all the other Section 8 properties) now have nothing but tile.

And yes, they SHOULD be grateful they get that. It's a fricking place to live! It's solid shelter from the elements, it's a place to keep their stuff and they don't pay a dime for it. All they have to do to stay in it is not tear it the frick up and many can't even manage that.

Want to know why Section 8 neighborhoods are so shitty? Because the people living there (the tenants) don't give a damn about it. Pick up after yourself, don't break shite, put at least a modicum of effort into helping beautify the neighborhood, when the cops come by needing information on some thug then give that info to them. It's not a difficult concept.

Yes there are shitty landlords, but it's faaaaaaar from a one-sided issue.

There are a lot of people who want to keep the poor poor.

Politicians are some of those people. So are those that have contacts to govt. and get business from the govt. "taking care of the poor".

And yes this includes those that take money to provide substandard housing.

Too many in and out of govt. profit of the "poor".

TO SUM IT UP: SECTION 8 HOUSING MAKES BILLIONS OF DOLLARS FOR CORPORATIONS AND LEAVES OUR CITIZENS LIVING IN SQUALOR. Trickle down economics my entire arse.

My brother and I owned Section 8 property a few years ago. The units had no baths/showers, so we just provided outdoor bathing via water hoses at 8 am daily. We proudly treated the tenants like shite, made money, and sold the property for a big profit.

I love how she unabashedly admits to living off her parents. Probably my favorite part of her ridiculousness

Oh I love the part where she bashes and blames her parents for helping her, while she acts like they are holding her back from success by helping her.

I member. She said all of the rescuers were white supremacist Trumpkins.

Funny because I personally know a black guy who took his boat out and rescued flood victims. Wait until he finds out he's Clayton Bigsby.
