It's definitely not normal for anyone outside of NOLA. That is ridiculous if people are paying over $200 per month for something that is so abundant that the City has trouble getting rid of it.

Nola just announced that they won’t be turning off water for non payments. What that means to the Poors is u never have to pay for water again The uppers will pay big time because that’s what they do they so dang white. They pay even though city won’t cut off. !

Holy shite that's a major frick up.
In BR my water/sewage bill is like $30 a month. And only like $9 of that is water, the rest is sewage.

I called them. They said that had to be a mess up and not to pay it and they are sending out an inspector.
They also said they think they fricked up several months that I paid and may be do some credits.

My parents had a pool issue one month and they had to drain and refill it a couple of times like 3-4 times. Their bill was like $200 instead of the usual like $35. So I don't have a clue how you'd hit $3000 lol.
