The water bill would be factored into my decision to take a promotion to nola or not. Seriously

The city is just now getting it's first water tower to maintain pressure.
I've watched these bozos tear up a road, replace a pipe and fill with asphalt skipping the concrete.

I had a leak one month and they used the sewage rate for that month for the year.
Although it doesn't help you guys out one bit, I've had nothing but success with LAWCO. I had a leak at the connection to the house for a month or so, ended up running close to $200 on a bill that's usually $30.i called and they said I still had to pay for the water, but they credited me the sewage rate back since the water just went into the ground.
Our sewage and water bill is both based on water consumption.

We were double charged two months in a row. Paid $150 water bills. I challenged then and someone was sent to read our meter in OCTOBER. Our bills are back to $70 but when I inquire about getting refunded the $150 that they stole, I'm told that it takes time.

this thread just reminds me of why i hate Nola and will never live there if it stays on this path
i think my gf has designs on moving back to Nola some day and that's a 100% deal breaker
i'll go long distance before i give that city any of my money
