I have a drinking problem that I've refused to acknowledge for years.

I can no longer get suitably drunk off regular beer. It takes a minimum 7-8 Budweiser's on an empty stomach to get a solid buzz. It takes 2 triple jack and cokes to get something happening. Well, I call it a triple. Think red solo cup with ice, fill it to about the last fifth and fill with Coke.
But more importantly, I no longer have the energy to try. I am 32 and tired of drinking. I need to dry out. Flush out my liver and get a solid detox so I can afford to drink fiscally responsibly.
I envy all you 2-3 beer and a solid buzz drinkers. Build a tolerance and get back to me.
I only drink once a week now, maybe. Sad stuff folks. I am growing up.
