Look out 7 buds going down.

Back about 8 years ago a handle would only last me 2 days and I drank 7 days a week for years.

For me to get a solid buzz on beer alone it takes more than 15-18 Miller Lites

I've been in and out of in and out patient rehabs. Ask away if you want of what to do and what not to do because I've relapsed so many times I can tile a floor with beginner chips from AA meetings

That's your real drinking problem, adolescent taste in alcohol.

I have refined taste but I don’t like spending a lot on booze. Old faithful works just fine, which is usually Evan Williams. I was just fancying things up a bit with the Jack reference.

Then you're drinking for the wrong reason, to get loaded. Spend some coin, slow down and enjoy the taste.

To enjoy the taste a good scotch, wine or beer. You can do that without getting drunk.

If you're drinking to get drunk and lamenting that eight beers won't even give you a buzz, you've built up a high tolerance and may want to consider if you have a real problem.

If you really want help or are just bragging on the OT about your drinking habits let me know. I can tell you the war stories, the positive moments, and what leads to the bad.

I need to dry out. Flush out my liver and get a solid detox so I can afford to drink fiscally responsibly.

I love that your reason for cutting back is mainly motivated by saving money.

started out like you. Towards the end I was up to a fifth and a half or so of Vodka a day before I quit everything and went to clean up in Rayville for four months. Get some help.

Yep.

When you go "reverse tolerance" you REALLY have a problem.

Of course I don't have an actual drinking problem. I'm lamenting my high tolerance for beer.

Sounds like you need some conditioning with your "high" tolerance of beer
