And there's a 99.9% chance that she's lying. Women are generally psycho and I wouldn't put it past any woman, no matter how long or well I'd known her to come up with an insane lie like that. I once had a gf tell me that her friend was shot and murdered so that I'd let her spend the night instead of making her go home because I had to be at work at 5am.

I don't want to get involved. If he wants advice from me, I'm going to advise him to come to the OT and read the advice for himself right here.

If he insists on advice from me, I'll tell him to advise his wife to buy some of those cleat overshoes that are designed for walking on ice.

Cheating happens pretty often and I guess it's always that way. How each couple resolves it is up to them. Isn't "get some counseling" the standard advice for people with troubles? That's going to be my advice: buy some cleat shoes for her and both of you get counseling. Period. Let the only "outsider" involved be a professional counselor.

If she hit her head that hard, she should be at the Dr getting a brain scan for a concussion.

I'm staying out of it. Going to tell him to see a marriage counselor.

No way I'm going to tell him that it seems like his wife is lying to him.

Obviously this is fake. Surprised my the amount of real replies...so she didn't question the wedding ring on her finger? The husband didn't go looking for her after no contact for a few days

I'm not going to call him back and ask him to ask her anything about a wedding ring.

I'm just going to tell him that: if he thinks his marriage has some troubles, congrats because 90 percent of couples have some kind of trouble even if it's not cheating AND see a marriage counselor.

I'm going to stay out of it. We live 500 miles apart. I'm in no position to give advice other than "see a marriage counselor".

I guess she forgot to check in her purse for her Id so she would know who the frick she was. Even better is she forgot to look in her phone and call somebody to let them know she had fallen and had memory loss.

Your friend is a fricking dumbass for even considering this excuse could be legit. His whore gf is just as dumb because despite having an entire weekend to come up with a good excuse as to why she was getting railed be another guy, amnesia was the best she could do.

This is by far the best reasoning I've ever heard for living up north where it's cold and the streets get icy.

Wife: Where the hell have you been for the last 3 days?

Me: Slipped on some ice...banged some whores.....it's okay though. I remember now.

Wife: Damn it. I knew we should have stayed where we don't have to worry about ice.

The End

Yeah, it would take a couple of trips to the doctor before I would believe that story. I'd also want to see some sort of visit before this, because you'd think anything that was hard enough to cause "amnesia" would leave a helluva bump.

well, I have a frirend whose wife left him for another man....I never dogged her, put her down , put down the guy she fled with...

and now she is back, over a year later

I told him, I never walked a mile in her shoes or his and I'm not gonna guess what was going on...I'm sorry this happened my friend...he just used me as a sounding borad, I allowed it...and that was that.

It's his decision...has she been a good wife up til this point in time? see? I don't know any of this stuff....ultimately, it's his call

Scene: Husband at home not being bothered and watching bowl games. Wife out and about for 3 days. Wife comes home.

Wife: Slipped on ice, found cawk in my vagina

Husband: Hush, I'm trying to watch the game. Make me a sandwich.

Scene: Wife hushes like she is supposed to, makes husband a sandwich.

I don't see a problem here.

That's insulting. She thinks he's that dumb to believe it. Divorce ASAP.

Show him this post...

This isn't like one of those old Peanut Butter Cup commercials where she was walking down a street eating peanut butter and accidentally bumped into some guy who was eating chocolate and ... Oooops... his dick fell into her snatch.

She willfully and purposely cheated on you for an entire weekend then lied to you about it with an embarrassingly implausible lie. She met this guy, made a conscious and purposeful decision to ride him (what was most likely multiple times) over an entire weekend. She then made another decision to fabricate some ridiculous farce because she apparently believes you are too stupid or too desperate to call her out on it.

A good, healthy relationship is built on mutual trust and respect and these are fostered through open, honest and caring communication. I don't know the particulars on the communication aspect your relationship, but apparently she has little respect for you and she has proven you can't trust her.

For me, this relationship would be over. The soap opera simplicity of the lie itself is almost as disrespectful as the actual act she spent all weekend doing with some other guy. For whatever reason she hasn't grown up and unless you married her just to raise her, the only real decision is to send her packing.

You can try counselling, but in the back of her mind there will still be that immature piece of her that will lose what little respect she still has for you, that piece that tells her you would be willing to look the other way if she can just come up with a more plausible excuse next time.

It's better to be lonely and alone than lonely in a relationship because when it's just you, you control it.

Sounds like he outkicked the coverage and she is way to hot for him. He's scared to move on and wants someone to agree with her shite excuse that he trusts.
