You’ll take him to the grocery and lay him lengthwise on the checkout conveyor.

Y'all have any tips? Fellow parents of the OT, help me!

This dude is so sleepy he's made himself miserable, but he just won't go to sleep.

Sleeping enough helps them sleep. You HAVE to get him on a schedule that you stick to. It's counter intuitive, but they need to go to sleep before they are over tired.

He's visibly sleepy

Try to get him down before this point. Put him down, allow him to get sleepy in bed.

For example, I just rocked him for maybe 30 minutes and he seemed to be asleep until I went to put him in his bassinet - suddenly wide awake.

He does this exact same thing repeatedly

This is classic. They need to learn to put themselves to sleep so that when they wake up, they can go back to sleep on their own.

There's a great book about it

Establish a thorough routine. This routine should include multiple styles to induce burping. A bubble is a super common cause of babies being uncomfortable(leading to not sleeping). Include other troubleshooting mechanisms.

Adhere to Mom’s on Call rules and schedule and it’s easy sailing if done from beginning. Personally seen it work on several kids. All slept through the night(9 hours) starting around 8 weeks.

Can be the same for us older people too. I have to keep a fresh bottle of carbonated water by the bed. It can be very painful. As soon as I can burp, it's instant relief.

Put him in his room close, the door. It’s that easy.

Play the 10 hour skyrim walk through on youtube.

It's just quiet scenery. And for some reason the baby loves it.

There is loads of things to try

White noise, Ewan the Sheep worked great for my little boy.

At 3 months I think it's a bit young for the car regularly but it would work.

Everyone says not to but have him in bed with you until he falls asleep then move him to his next to me crib?

Patting his bum while cradling used to work too

I know they say good babies make bad toddlers but I thank god my boy has been a good baby as we are both rubbish when tired.

No such thing a car seats. Get real dude

Lol

People didn't drive babies before car seats were invented?

Mmmkay. Now who isn't real.

As long as there has been cars, there has been driving. Poor roads. Costs of gas/maintenance. Lack of seat belts/car baby seats.

You are imagining a past with a very different set of norms than you can imagine.

The Snoo! Best money we spent. Its pricey, but can later be resold and holds its value.
