I’d rather go to Mogadishu on vacation during a warlord uprising than go back to DW.

Bros, is it possible to take a trip to Disney or 30A and not start a thread on the OT about it?

Took my kids multiple times before Disney got ate up with the gay.

Thankfully, Mrs. udtiger is a fanatic about planning and we never ran onto any real issues/delays. Vacations ran smoothly.

Stayed on property and used the buses to get around. Things got a little more complicated when they started monkeying with the FastPass system, but she/we adapted.

I can get why people have bad experiences. If you just show up and hope for the best, you are setting yourself up for misery.

Very glad my wife and I are not on the Disney train and that was before it was really getting work and pedo.

To each his own but you can travel to so many places in the world for roughly the cost of a trip to Disneyworld and come back actually relaxed and recharged. Amongst other places we’ve gone to Maui a few times instead of DW.

We just got back two weeks ago and had a blast

I will say Orlando heat was ridiculous. 98 and 99 air temp plus humidity

We went Memorial Day weekend and got lucky. Beat the school rush plus got genie plus. Rode every ride in every park twice and every single ride in Magic Kingdom. Genie and virtual queues were no problem.

We didn’t do any stupid expensive character dining and no meal plans. We grab and go breakfast and bring snacks and drinks. We splurged on dinners but split a lot of things. Fyi anyone can order a kids meal despite it saying 9 and under.

It’s not for everyone but you have to get a planner and do your research and you can beat the system.

Controversial opinion- Disneyland is better than DisneyWorld

Two parks next to each other, very small and manageable and you can stay across the street and walk everywhere. No buses, not as many fatties and no Florida people.

And did I mention it’s usually 60-80 degrees in the day with no humidity? We went in 2019 and I was wearing a North Face in June.

Meal plans only save money if you would have eaten exactly like that on your visit. Otherwise, it's a scam.

Went in April and had a blast. No kids thirty years old. I do only recommend it if your going with someone who qualifies for DAS. I couldnt do the lines without it!

You should try a Disney cruise. Fun for the kids and a ton of stuff for adults and the whole family.

It’s a scam. I’m surprised they can continually convince people to attend.

If I’m ever on vacation at a place that offers a meal or drink plan, something has gone horribly awry.

Blows my mind that people have itineraries for "vacations". I thought the whole point of vacationing was to get away from that shite....

They promise an experience that’s rarely delivered and promote things like Fast Pass and other so called special services to bilk people out of more money.
Thy promote a magical experience when it’s mostly standing in line, fighting crowds and vastly overpriced.
I suspect if customers would break down the price of a ticket and how many rides they actually ride in a day, they’d realize what a scam it is.
It’s akin to paying $200 for a buffet meal and getting 4-5 courses of very average food.
