Just never did. The few times I've been hunting I've hated every minute of it. Just not my thing.

Don’t tKe this the wrong way, but if you do get a gun, practice enough with it so you at least don’t hate it. Assuming you would ever have to use it for a defensive purpose, last thing you want is to lose your mind holding a gun.

hunting can definitely get frustrating, especially if you're deer hunting in S. Louisiana. But the adrenaline rush you get when you see big daddy is worth the wait

There is ZERO doubt about that. I have never had an issue with people having guns, but just haven't had one myself and have never really considered buying one until all of this stuff. I mean, when you see "peaceful protestors" burning places, looting and attacking people with no police presence due to imbecile leaders and residents driving out police, how could you not at least consider it or go out and buy one?

You do realize that you can shoot a gun when you’re not hunting right? Or are you one of those that’s triggered emotionally when you start firing an AR?

You'll get more help on the Outdoor Board.

For home defense get a full sized 9mm and a 12 Guage.

I have a CZ Rami 9mm and a Maverick 88 Security.

People like me? Just because I'm a male doesn't mean I have to like guns. I actually love the outdoors. I own a boat, golf, etc.....Just because you own a gun doesn't make you a man baw.

I purchased a new shotgun recently for this very reason. You don’t have to be a good shot

This. Nothing makes people want to buy a guy than seeing rioters burn buildings and beat people with police nowhere in sight.

Just need some powder and a few sacks of nails and you've got yourself a street cleaner.

Best statement on this was posted here a few weeks ago. Something to the effect of: "If someone is rushing to buy a gun or ammo now they are unprepared in life."

I grew up with guns, my dad had 9 or 10 hanging on the wall in the wash room for 30 years. I had my own from 10 years old or so, shotguns, 22's, deer rifles.

I still have a small arsenal in my home.

You are a little late to the game. One gun is like having none.
