Yet you took the time to read it and then comment on it. So I guess what you mean is that you are somehow triggered by it.

This, and our bodies do not tolerate extreme heat or cold as well when we age.
I can attest to this as I have worked in a non-airconditioned shop for the last 25+ years.
I can't go at it all day long like I could years ago, and it is becoming apparent to me each year that is my body does not deal with it as well each passing summer.
At least the heater works well enough, and you can always dress warm in layers, and keep HotHands in your pockets.

But yet the original post clearly stated that the OP did not care about what anyone thinks about it. So why even post it?

See the circle. Maybe not. Simple minds can't figure those things out.

Anyone who has had to sleep without A/C in the south knows that it's always been hot in the summer. Always! People just had better ways to deal with it. Attic fans, screen doors/windows, working in the shade. Kids played in the sprinkler or just drank from the garden hose.

It's no worse this year than it was in the past.

That guy went on to say this:

Probably has to do with the massive El Neno from 2016 that never left.

I don't know if he actually knows anything about the last eight years of temperatures, but he sure as shite doesn't know anything about "El Neno".

Look up summer of 1980 if you want to know hot. It was at least a full month of days with the high being 100 degrees or more.

You're older and fatter, and it is harder to stay hydrated.

Worst summer in memory.

I was sandblasting inside enclosed steel boxes and had to wear a heavy hood and coat, for my summer job. I've never been more miserable. $3.10 an hour in that heat made me realize I needed some skills.

Yep, no AC in schools and ceiling fans to cool the homes. People became better adapted to the heat.
