Hey, had a few of our brothers ask me to send you best wishes. Rooster, Knuckles, Sprocket, Bear, Capone, Chains, and Irwin all said to let you know they're thinking about you, and thankful they didn't have to "pour one out" for you.

No. But it was a young nurse who played a pivotal role that day. Her shift started that morning and she noticed my color had changed. I had been getting my normal color back but that day she said I looked "gray". She talked to my wife who said she noticed the same thing. They both watched me close as the day went on and the nurse began ordering different tests along with calling in not just my doctors but just about anyone she could. She really stuck her neck out on a gut feeling that something was just not right. A lot of the docs were pissed to be called in to start with. By that evening though even they could see my condition was going down fast. Thankfully she had them all there and in place to help me immediately. Were it not for her, I don't think I'd have made it.
I really don't remember much of anything from that night. I do know my poor wife was there to see it all (almost) and even had to start calling in family and friends when the doctors told her it was time to do so. Thankfully they'd made her go to the CICU waiting room before I coded. She did say though she was sitting in there alone when she heard the intercom announce "code blue. room 1002, code blue 1002". I hate she had to go through that, especially alone.

Yeah. It's basically rat poison from what I understand. And I'll be on it, or something similar the rest of my life. I hope they can move me to a different med so I don't have to keep getting my blood thickness checked all the damn time.
