Yes. Only interior problems are a cracked dash and the driver's side visor flops around.

I put Husky Liner mats in it and will push a Dashskin on soon.

GMT400 is the best truck ever made IMO

I mention this here all the time but my dream car (which I will be able to obtain) is a 1998 two door z71 Tahoe. I don’t want it jacked up with swampers but just a simple level, AT tires and that’s it.

I had a maroon one just like that I wish I would’ve hung on to it.

Knew a few ole boys in high school who drive those. One had buck shots and other had wrangler mts i believe

Mine has Toyo (I think) mud tires on currently but I will probably replace with some BFG All Terrain K02 tires.

I like the way they look with the white lettering out on the stock wheels.

Agreed, the early 2000s stuff was good as well then it all went downhill.

Can't imagine driving anything else

Mine is still intact other than the cracks themselves so I'm just going to put a Dashskin on it. Excellent product that I've used on another truck. Looks just like the stock dash.

Pretty aggravating for sure.

Hoping to get $4k or so to help me feel better and I'll just keep driving it.

I didn't want an immaculate one anyway, I like cruising dirt roads and such and I'd be afraid to with a perfect one.

I have a 98 z71 like that. Keep it at the farm, its a great truck. Easy to work on.

That 5.7 v8 is a work horse.

Mine has only 188,000 miles. Never been in engine or transmission.

Beautiful my friend!
My daily is a 99 Chevy Tahoe, just the basic, 4 door model. Little less miles than yours

I think they went downhill around 2007 when AFM came onto the scene and it started messing up their previously reliable 5.3 engine.

a pre AFM 5.3 engine will run forever. Sweet spot for Chevy was likely 04, 05 trucks but I prefer the look of the gmt400 a lot more and the 5.7 wasn’t bad at all

Agreed. I like the GMC crew cab Z71 from 2006ish but they're really hard to find for a good price without a lot of mods.

Had an 05 Chevy Z71 as my first vehicle from 2011-2020, 174k miles to 293k.
