Probably extended your contract for a couple of more years.

Within a week of cutting off completely, Cox sent me 10 times better offers.

I'll never sign another contract for cable again.

I’m truly amazed Cox hasnt massively cut their company yet

Myself included. I can only conclude they have quite a few Skippy’s still on the wagon scared to jump. The ones left are getting ravaged with no lube though based on $304 a month

YoutubeTV,

Ok, I'm open to kicking the dish.

Does anyone have issues with it buffering? Internet speed, etc.

I did this BS with DirecTV for years until about a year ago. So I'm rolling with YouTube TV, Netflix, Hulu, and I get Amazon video through my Prime subscription.

It's still cheaper by like $50 for all those and internet than what I was paying for DirecTV.

You don't call to lower-you call to cancel. I called to cancel cable because I had already signed up for ATT TV. My bill would have gone from 225 to 150.

That is my bundled price for TV, internet and phone (wife wants to keep the land line).

I have HBO and the sports package. I have 5 receiver boxes. No other frills.

Not too often. Sometimes a channel freezes and I just switch and go back but again that's not often.

No issues but you can tradeoff for a better internet package if you do.

With Gigablast and YoutubeTV our combined bill is literally half your current cable bill

Man I've been trying to get my parents to cut the cord for years. Idk what it is about boomers and accepting high cable bills.

Spend your money on the internet speed packages. Get a high one. This isn’t an issue at our home. No matter how many devices, or tv’s, are going.

My only issue with YouTube TV is specific to the app on my android tv and not the service itself. Video will freeze after 2-3 seconds of switching the channel. I can either cast from my phone or do a power cycle on the tv (unplug for 30 seconds) and it’s perfectly fine. The issue doesn’t occur on Apple TV though, and I’ve had zero issues with buffering or anything. I’ve only used it on uverse gigabit and google fiber though.
