On Saturdays I like to flip around channels to the various games. For some reason I couldn’t get a good signal from the HD antenna no matter where I positioned it, and Sling TV was clunky and slow and constantly buffering.
This was back in 2013 so it’s probably easier to cut the cord now.

When you cut the cable, don't let them talk you into the highest tier internet. They say you need the expensive one to stream everything. We have lowest tier cox in Baton Rouge. Today, 3 kids watching Netflix on AppleTV in one room, wife streaming school board meeting to big screen in living room while on a Zoom meeting with video, 1 kids playing ABCMouse on Ipad, and I surfed web on phone. No glitches, buffering, etc.

On the other hand, Eatel says my internet will cost $40/month, and I'm billed $40 to the penny. YoutubeTV says it's $49.99/month, and I am billed $49.99 to the penny, and that includes unlimited dvr and 3 streams. I can cancel/switch either at any time with no termination fees. I don't have to call every 12 months and spend hours on the phone trying to get better pricing again. There's just no bullshite.
Honestly I wouldn't even care if comcast/cox/att/whoever would actually be cheaper even after all the bullshite fees, I still wouldn't want to deal with them because they're shady dishonest fricks.

I just don't have the energy for change, baws. So much effort. frick effort. The status quo is comfortable.
There's not a damned thing "comfortable" about paying $300 for something when you could be paying $150. They're just going to keep bumping up your rates and tacking on fees until you call them again screaming uncle, and then not only will you have wasted thousands of dollars but also more time and headache.
Spend a week getting used to a streaming service with their free trial.

Can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or not.
But it’s a TV package that’s better than most basic cable packages (with sports included) for $50/mo and no bullshite fees or price increases once you sign up.
You just open the “YouTube TV” app on any smart device, login to a google account, and start watching (most smart TVs have the app).
If you have Chromecast you can cast it to any TV compatible, or FireStick has the app built in.
It’s really easy to use and the best part is you can quit anytime with no fees. I only activate mine during football season.
ETA: It comes with unlimited DVR space which is completely worth it.
