I cut the cord around 2013. saved a little money but not that much and it sucked for watching football. So now I just pay for cable and don’t think about it. TV is too important to frick around with.

If you have a smart tv, Roku, Apple TV, fire TV, Xbox, PS4, laptop, basically any type of streaming device. You don't have to do shite other than download whatever service you go with. Hulu, YouTube, atttv, etc..

How so? All the services have the sports channels. For a lot of games you just need an antenna to pick up locals, don't even have to pay for anything.

I use an antenna and get all the CBS, Fox, and ABC games. ESPN is the one obstacle though

If you really want to stay with Cox, the only way to avoid the yearly 100$ increase in your bill is to cancel every year. you can get new customer promotion Deal by changing account name to spouse and then alternate account back to your name The following year. Had to do that a few years in Virginia when cox was my only option. Ridiculous Cox sucks

I pay Hulu $75 for the bells and whistles, Cox $75 for internet access, I never miss a game and I save close to $150 a month over my old cable bill. I can put a TV anywhere I want, don't care if there is a coax, 4k Firestick gives me access anywhere.
