I beat my meat. We all have ways of dealing with the everyday doldrums.

I've never heard of this, but awesome if it works for you.
Is it uncomfortable during the treatment?
If it's glorified head massage, I guess I could see how that might help.
Tapping the back of your neck is supposed to relax you right?

Ha. I bet someone in your family faces this. Jerk.

Bro, I deal with it.

I wasn’t knocking anybody who deals with it. I was pointing out that more and more are dealing with it.

Festivus! That episode still kills me. Feats of strength. Airing of grievances. Peak 90s TV.

Good for you

One thing I've noticed in people I know who struggle with these things is they engage in a lot of negative self talk. Being aware of it and trying to control it are difficult because it requires a conscious effort in trying to reverse long-established patterns of thinking.

Be kind to yourself, and count your blessings every day.

Glad TMS worked for you. I’m not convinced it’s much more than placebo but if it works it works.

They offer it at the ketamine clinic I use. No idea if it's effective or not, I went the ketamine route. It's way more fun.

Case histories are presented showing rapid recovery (less than 7 days) from major depression using 125-300 mg of magnesium (as glycinate and taurinate) with each meal and at bedtime. Magnesium was found usually effective for treatment of depression in general use. Related and accompanying mental illnesses in these case histories including traumatic brain injury, headache, suicidal ideation, anxiety, irritability, insomnia, postpartum depression, cocaine, alcohol and tobacco abuse, hypersensitivity to calcium, short-term memory loss and IQ loss were also benefited.

I read Feeling Good around this time last year when I was seriously feeling down.

The exercises to break free from cognitive distortions really worked! I suggest anyone feeling dejected to read Feeling Good.

The guy has a podcast and just released an app too. Haven’t tried the app but he says it’s getting good reviews.
