Of the 20 different breeds of Pit which one is the most prone to busting a spring with out warning and killing a baby or mauling an old lady?

It’s always the sweet ones that cause a family to pay for a plastic surgeons new Audi.

could we have powered through the allergy with medications and whatnot if it were a cocker spaniel? maybe.

So Bostonians are like pitbulls? That’s stupid

Amstaff aren't pits and neither are Bull Terriers.

I have an Amstaff who will be 11 in April and I trust him around children more than any dog you can find.

Establish an alibi on the internet. Good idea.

If you already have the puppy and sense he/she has an agreeable temperament then what’s the problem?

I once met a guy from Boston who was an asshat, I don’t hate all Bostonians because of him.

Do a test: next time the puppy is eating or fiercely playing with a toy, go take the food or toy away and see how it reacts. If the dog gets aggressive, you have issues. If not, I don’t see the problem.

I get that pit bulls have a reputation but I’ve also met a bunch of really sweet pits. I don’t think you should ditch the dog just because of crimes it didn’t commit.

Also if the puppy loves you kids, it will protect the frick out of them.

Edit: I see the update, and you handled the situation like a champ!

americans really need to take lessons on analogies ... libs, pubs, rich, poor, whatever ...

clue: bostonians don't have a rep for being assholes because they kill people ...

clue #2: being an a-hole doesn't cause an irreversible situation ...

One look at that sucker and all I see is pit. Not remotely close to lab or boxer.

All pits are not bad raise em right and they’ll be fine. Personally I don’t trust any dog bigger than my kids around my kid alone. When I was a kid a friend of mine got his arse tore up by his uncles Labrador retriever and Australian shepherd. Tag teamed.

Um yeah it does. A pure bred American pit bull terrier is "more pit bull" than your mix of 2 breeds that aren't pit bull.
