I cannot find many hypothetical tax evasion stories on the interweb. Can anyone think about sly ways to lower business income?
Hypothetical ways to turn business income into greenbacks?
Gift Card tricks?
Ex:
Buy expensive equipment at office depot. Take it back for store credit. Starbucks gift card is now a business deduction.

Owning a cash-only restaurant.
There is a little burger place in my hometown that ONLY accepts cash.
You could underreport, launder illegal funds, all kinds of stuff. No one can prove or disprove a transaction.

Google some of the transcripts of federal tax evasion cases. They tend to get pretty descriptive when they are about to throw you in the slammer
