Ordinarily I would consider her inability to come to terms with the dog as a sign that we had markedly different values and I’d move on. But in the case of severe allergies, of course I’d find another home for the dog.

There’s not a dog I’ve had that I would have gotten rid of for a girl. There’s not a girl I’ve dated that would have asked me to get rid of any of my dogs.
