Hydrogen Peroxide in the ears to stop cold or flu from developing?

I’m not a natural remedies kinda guy. However, my cousin is. Her kid got the flu and she doesn’t let her kids take tamaflu. He got over the flu fast, a day or so, and I was shocked. I asked her what she did. She said drink grape juice and hydrogen peroxide in the ears. He was over it in less than 24 hours. I was thinking that it was a misdiagnosed flu or that her crazy arse didn’t even take him to the doctor(just claimed she did). I have found a few things about hydrogen peroxide working and just wanted to see if anyone else had success with it. Although I believe many of her natural remedies are horse crap, I’m open to the ones that actually work.
Also, of course I talked to my cousin about it but she is extremely bias for natural remedies and against medicines.

From a medicine woman in my village named La-A: you're supposed to drink a lot of it with apple cider vinegar. It's rubbing alcohol that you put in your ears with grape soda (not juice). Godspeed.

I'm not familiar with this. But I do hear if you stuff your ear full of dog shite, it works well. Give it a shot and let me know what you find out.

Yeah, either he didn't have the flu, just a run of the mill virus or he wasn't diagnosed until nearly a week into the flu.

For the past 3 years, I regularly flush my ears with witch hazel or hydrogen peroxide. I have avoided sinus infections and colds so far. May be something to it.
