Where does someone find a good job in LA with a felony marijuana conviction? Asking for a friend of course...

Actually good advice but it sounds as if Hubs is in his early to mid 40’s not untrainable but definitely harder to start over in a new industry at that age.

He turns 52 in July.

Age discrimination is gonna be a real deal looking for something.

Fortunately, the job market is so hot something should pop for him soon.

Louisiana consistently ranks at or near the bottom in job opportunities.

Look at this list. Check out Louisiana's 'Industry Workforce" and compare it to the other states.

I bet Jody tells you how beautiful you are and makes you feel appreciated. How about not talking shite about you “hub” on a message board that he probably posts on.

Maybe he is hoping you will leave him and go back to Texas. You seem pretty bitter and nagging.

Southwest Louisiana and Southeast Texas are booming with great paying jobs if you don't mind getting your hands dirty and don't burn the cup up.

Lot of jobs in Medical Coding, course is online then take test to get certified.Pay not terrific- something like $17.50/hr. avg but pay is better if get certified in specialty area such as cardiology or neurology.Lots of jobs available in hospitals, drs. offices. If one applies their self and gets really good could become supervisor. My wife works in cardiology clinic and they have had hard time getting competent coders. Also good many work from home jobs.Good luck.

Those are the worst but I can’t knock someone trying to earn an honest living and not just there watching their SO struggle alone with debt.

I saw where she said she doesn't work some MLM job, but it's one thing to earn an honest living and another to get involved in MLMs.

They prey on people who are having tough times. Feed them bullshite to shoot them up with false confidence while that person is wasting their time as they try to sell others on it.. And if they are lucky, they get a few people on board before they eventually quit. And when they are done, they did nothing but waste their time, while the people above them gets the credit for the few people that person sold to.

Don't let the negative comments on this site fool you about TX. It's a great place to live and much better quality of life. 1/2 of Houston is from Louisiana or so it seems
